Sunday

Welcome
We know there can be some initial question you may have, possibly before ever entering our doors. So we have put together this brief overview of who we are and what you can expect when you come on a Sunday.
Directions To Westminster
Westminster is located at 94 Tindall Road in Middletown, across from Middletown High School North
Worship Services
We have one weekend service: Sunday at 10:00 AM (Traditional)
What Should I Expect On A Sunday?
Parking
Parking is available in our parking lot located behind the Sanctuary on our church campus. The main entrance to our Sanctuary is through the double blue doors. We are handicapped assessable.
Greeters
When you arrive, visitors, guests, and friends will be met at the door with a warm smile and a greeting by someone on our Greeters Team. If you have young children with you, they will be offered a Worship Bag that includes a coloring book and crayons, a Teddy Bear, and other items to keep your child(ren) occupied. Children are very welcome in worship and/or may be dropped off in our safe and friendly Nursery. A gift bag with information about Westminster is offered to adult visitors.
Traditional Service
Our Traditional Service at 10:00 am on Sundays fuses traditional elements of worship with contemporary expressions of faith. From classical hymns of praise you remember from your youth—led by the Chancel Choir—to contemporary praise songs led by Westminster’s Good News Band, to an upbeat and inspiring Bible-based message each week from our pastor, our worship strives to inspire and equip you.
Nursery Care
Westminster Church provides a safe, happy and bright environment for infants to age 4 who are entrusted to nursery care. Two attendants, one paid and a senior attendant volunteer, staff our nursery each week from 9:50am to 11:15am.
Coffeehour
Join us after church in Harlan Hall (named after our founding pastor, Rev. Harlan Durfee) for discussion and friendship with others who are new to the community. Meet our pastor and leadership who will warmly welcome you over coffee, tea, or juice.
Sunday School
Our Sunday School meets at 10:00 am, the same time as our service. On the first Sunday of the month, our pre-K through grade 5 students begin their Sunday experience in the Sanctuary where they hear a children’s sermon and sing as a part of the Sunday School choir. They return to their respective classrooms after the children’s sermon.
Lectionary Bible Study
Sunday mornings begin with a small group Bible study based on the readings appointed by the 3 year common lectionary. The Bible study meets from 8:45-9:30am in Harlan Hall.
